| German
photographer Mark Brandenburgh (born 1966) is the new emerging talent in
the field of aesthetic black & white people photography. His photo-
graphic mission is a soulful celebration of life. His photographic style
mirrors his soul and can be paraphrased as ‘a modern approach in classical
aesthetics’. His photographs and articles are being published by a growing
number of trade magazines. Through use of LEICA M- and R- series cameras
and his own black & white darkroom, he always aims for the excellent
result. With a PhD in Physics and as a professional photographer, Mark
Brandenburgh combines in-depth technical expertise with creative ability.
He is also a Lecturer in Photography as well as he teaches his honest handicraft
in exclusive workshops. He is also available as an independent technical
evaluator of new photographic products and equipment. |
| The
art of the following photographers have greatly influenced the work of
Mark Brandenburgh: Sebastião Salgado, Jeanloup Sieff, Ralph Gibson,
August Sander, Henri Cartier-Bresson but also Nomi Baumgartl and Helmut
Newton. Mark Brandenburgh's darkroom skills are based on the books of Anselm
Adams and being modified by the personal contact to Wolfgang Moersch, Germany’s
most famous Fine-Art Print-Master. |
